In human cultures we have witnessed many public policies in the past such as indigenous oneness with all relations, non ownership potlach, respect for all beings, cosmology... matriarchy Earth Goddess... Patriarchy ascended, City sewer policy, Control by grid, conquests of nature, leading to industrial policy, policy of the machine, extraction policy, robots and canned voices... and recently tottering between slavery, consumerism, theocracy, extreme dictatorship, infant democracy, and a rearing corporatocracy. It brings exquisite pleasure and pain to usher in a new era of the nature commons when our patterns are so jaggedly branded into the subject animals we are forced to become, while the real animals are hunted, poisoned and extinguished. My friend lets God be her public policy following religious & ecofeminist traditions. I turn back to the original cells of sun that spawned our earth and ask my Nature relations for guidance. Nature is my trusted commons and my public policy. & Humor rises. Won’t you join me in this experiment for world changers? ASK NATURE...

FOR TRANSITION TOWN LYONS I ESCORTED A TOPIC WALKTALK THROUGH MEADOW PARK TO ASK THE NATURE BEINGS WHAT THEY THOUGHT OF THE NEW ECONOMIC BLOWOUT, IT WAS FEBRUARY 2009 AND WE WERE TRYING TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY WITH ECONOMIC RECOVERY. THIS AFTERNOON OF LISTENING TO OUR NATURE BEINGS CULMINATED IN A TOWN HALL COMMUNITY BRAINSTORMING TO PUT A NEW FACE ON LOCAL GROWTH ACTION PLANS FOR ECONOMIC RECOVERY. MOSTLY WE SPOKE TO TREES.
