I learned that the Lyons Mountains hold even my stories to tell, those colored by my having made my own adze, fingerwoven pinky baskets, sewn pine needle baskets, lived to hear trance stories of the coastal tribes, yet am here in Ute, Cheyene & so much more richly lived indigenous territory, picking up my own vibes after learning Shannon’s original instruction vibes of this homeland which she says is now also my place to show ‘n share with elders & children.
