My Waste water work has doubled here since the town UEB engineers have voted Monday to do away with the give away to Longmont option, to be reinstituted in 10-15 years though ( what are they up to?) (they are full of huge contradictions for how they will proceed for new of retrofit & with whom?) they took the vote, to present yet a new proposal,  to push it right to the new Board for decision- They disregard our SFC also has time to recommend the sustainable option. powerplays are dicey now,  the new Board has not yet been briefed at all on the wastewater initiatives with a year of work to learn, Honeywell is insisting on a fast track to be chosen & do workshops in Lyons

As we are both in the tunnel of completion we may want to design our reviewing process too. I just got of my advising session with Ethan and he asked me to have my OP6 complete to give to you by 22 June so you have time before 30 June to review it.
If we continue with our process of reviewing each others work  - which I would like to do as we've been tracking each other's process for this year - then we have the following:
Ariane needs to review Coco's OP11 (5) and 12 (6)
Coco needs to review Ariane's OP11 (5) and 12 (6)
If I suggest the following from my end:
Ariane will have OP5 complete by 6 June for Coco to review and return by 13 June and OP6 complete by 20 June for Coco to review and return by 29 June.
Does that work for your schedule? And when would you have your OPs to me for review - this way I can schedule in the time to make sure I do your reviews in a timely way.
I will be invoicing GU for $50 to pay you from my learning budget for this interview work, & the same for an elf to do the digesting. It finishes off my $500 learning budget.

Yes include my voice - it would be great if you could put photos perhaps from a meeting - or the group or something not just the maps - things that illustrate what you were talking about as i attempt the meta level synthesis of the skill sets you are actually flexing as an eco-social designer.

you pinpointed every case where you could, that gave an output slant on my informational slant & that for me does what Val wanted, gives the other person than me a chance to participate & takes some of the burden off of me in putting up the OP- That was Val’s intent, The elf idea of digesting notes is the same vein of doing my work for me, that was what she wanted me to show – that I not continue do my own perfect thing & can incorporate the real help of other people to do some of the work for me. I felt so supported by what you underscored in each section. You were awesome & a real shining light for GU.
I would like to be running some of the slides I sent you of the google maps, or other relevant slides to the project over some of what you are saying, that would be creative without effort, since you asked for the docs & I can write about that as part of the reflection of the OP how I integrated your advice.
I’ve already done lots of slides for the OP & don’t want to over use them in the website pages- let me know

Length of interview?:
I can use the length, depending on the material, by making a few shorter videos. I can cut back from an hour to one/ half in the editing alone then divide into sections, or just choose one powerful section so it is not a precise predicition, or need, I can use it like a lump of glass being blown.

Dear Ariane
I think the object is to provide some GU content that associates can chew on for tackling a large project that is so complex with moving parts & so many required protocols to intuitively time correctly - Where an asteroid hits makes a difference! I like our back & forth figuring out together.
since you recommended doing a GU oriented manual for a project, is the idea is good for this OP?

& you had ideas for how to engage the GU community, so you will find a way to express Q’s that will do just that. I’d love to see some of your thinking in the work up to the Questions. another question is how did I learn from your interview to significantly simplify from the richness of multiple considerations?

What a brilliant list of questions - so many to choose from.
I am curious to know -
a) what are the objectives of this video
b) how long you intend to make it.

The list of questions is probably more than enough for a 2 hour documentary!
What do you think about you choosing 4 - 5 questions that you think will point us in the direction of the outcomes you are seeking for the video - both in content and length?
If the objective of the video is to create something short that could get someone else started on the path of bringing a living machine to their community then I'd be happy to start us off with a question which i know will lead to more...

Yes - thats a good reminder that part of the process is for the evaluator so see what aspects of the feedback we carry forward into the next OP - so they see the evolutionary process.

Dear Ariane  with your always sharply added way of fanning out what you are visioning, making two commentaries seem whole, It’s like a painting begun with a thin veil of what will come, underlay then being shaped into the complex vision that takes many stages of overpainting or leaving some areas sketchy & hinting & of course some areas also get wiped out clean but the full interaction of the artist’s own interpretation, mind, intuition & perception.
would be a lovely GU exercize- to visually show an evaluative conversation in process.

C: appreciate your mentioning that you see how am trying to learn my way out of imposing my right brain on others, kind of a switch, don’t you think? to seeing too much left brain stifle the creativity needed to survive on this planet. Without this Gaia U work I might still be turning away access to the understandings needed to survive.

A: My intention was to appreciate your work AND provide you with places where i genuinely need help to access what you want me to know - so here offering you the stretch to meet me where I am at - a person without the radical art background that you have been immersed in. I'm glad you find it helpful and yes it is ironic that the very thing we all need to be exploding in is the right brain mash up of associative thinking - as there in lies the rich answers to our challenges. The thing is when we're talking to people outside our field we need to meet them where they're at - or at least give them something that intrigues their curiosity.

C: The whole brain is a precarious arena for transformations. Thanks for mentioning your work with labyrinths in associating with Right left brain investigation. By the body moving about in a labyrinth we re-program our whole brain, that body-mind thing is solved by just walking around & around within a structure that helps it heal for survival. It’s like a doctor healer friend who had a brain injury from a ski accident, finding her way out of the concussion fog by chance when learning how to do pottery on a wheel, that action of the wheel pulled her up & out of the fog like a miracle, & like the making of a new beautiful pot. Well, miracle because the complexity of the brain is a sort of miracle, in that we know so little of its capacity at any given time.

A: There is something in that movement back and forth - think biodynamic agriculture where the preparations are stirred into a swirling vortex, then crashed and swirled the other way - for hours. This circular motion powerfully unites the yin and the yang energies of the universe - which in turn brings about healing and wholing.
C: Am learning that typos are very human by the way, & why strive for such perfection unless am publishing a book that goes out to the world, & even here, in this day of  books on demand, it make less sense to be perfect, the iterations can  quickly be succeeded upon with new truths.
A: Yes typos are fine with me - Ethan is always on my case for typos - and I must say over the last year I've gotten sharper at catching them
